PRODUCT

A refill compatible with the N°5 Eau de Parfum Refillable Spray, designed to prolong the fragrance trail throughout the day.

In 1921, Gabrielle Chanel asked Ernest Beaux to develop a “woman’s perfume, with a woman’s scent.” The perfumer presented her with a visionary expression that made unprecedented use of aldehydes. Mademoiselle chose the fifth sample and decided to name it simply N°5. For this new composition, she selected a bottle with a revolutionary silhouette, adorned with a white label and topped with a faceted cabochon. In 1986, Jacques Polge reinterpreted his predecessor’s work to imagine a fuller version of the now and forever expression: the Eau de Parfum.

COMPOSITION

The Eau de Parfum draws inspiration from the original Parfum. This floral bouquet, composed around May rose and jasmine, features bright citrus top notes. Aldehydes create a unique presence, while the smooth touch of bourbon vanilla yields an incredibly sensual sillage.

To refill, find the notch on the bottom of the case (sold separately) and slide open. Press down on the atomizer and the canister will pop out. Add the refill and slide the bottom shut.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
